Directions By Autombile

The Long Island Expressway(LIE), the Grand Central Parkway (GCP), the Whitestone Bridge and the Throggs Nick Bridge all feed into the Cross Island Parkway.  Take the Cross Island Parkway South Into the Southern State Parkway EAst and get off at Exit 17 South.  Turn right after exit and at fork in the road (at 2nd traffic light) bear left onto Ocean Avenue for 1.7 miles to Sunrise Highway (just after a Railroad Underpass). Turn left onto Sunrise Highway and continue on for 1.4 miles to Oceanside Road. (Oceanside Road is 1 block past Long Beach Road).  Turn right onto Oceanside Road and continue for 1.8 miles.  Pass the traffic light on Oceanside Road and the Young Israel is at the intersection on the far left side corner.

From Brooklyn

Take the Belt Parkway East into the Southern State Parkway East and continue as above.

From New Jersey

Take the Goethals Bridge to the Staten Island Expressway East,to the Verrazano Bridge to the Belt Parkway east, to the Southern State Parkway east. continue as above.

From Northern New Jersey and Points North

Take the Goerge Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway (East) to either the Whitestone or Throggs Neck Bridge.  Continue as above.

From the 5 Towns

Take Broadway to East Rockaway Road.  Turn Right.  Continue on East Rockaway Road,(which becomes Main Street, and then becomes Atlantic Avenue) for about 10 minutes. Turn right from Atlantic Avenue onto Long Beach Road.  Continue for several blocks and turn left onto Waukena Avenue.  Go to the intersection of Oceanside Road, turn right onto Oceanside Road and make an immediate left into the Young Israel parking lot.

By Railroad

Take the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Oceanside.  Take a Taxi from the station to the shul.  (Lirr Information (516-822-LIRR, or 718-217-LIRR.
